I like to compare older pics of Ruby with newer pics of her in similar positions or places. The growth is expected, but always amazing when I do the comparison.
A couple days after my last blog about Ruby knowing the alphabet, we discovered that Ruby has a much better understanding of the things she sees in books. From animals, vegetables, household items, foods, and plants, she can point to a lot of things when we call them out in any of the three languages. I have no idea how or when she learns a lot of these things. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be absorbing these things as fast as she does. Maybe kids just learn a lot faster than adults.
